André Scheidegger is a professional photographer from Switzerland and owner of moodpix.ch

Thanks to his sophisticated technique, he is able to create highly complex picture compositions that force us to linger and reflect. André is always looking for the perfect interplay between a spontaneous and emotional expression and technical perfection. When setting up for the shooting, he uses the methods of classical photography and a lot of technical skill. In some cases, he afterwards completes the images taken by means of image processing on the computer. The result: a perfect composition. His pictures represent a snapshot. However, they are actually the result of a long, complex and conceptual work. André is strongly engaged with the theme of people. When working for customers, he has to present people in a beautiful and advantageous way. That is why, he looks for the person behind the facade when doing projects in his free time. In doing so, a kind of images emerges that we are not yet familiar with or that we have repressed until now. They are images of people from niches, for which sociology probably has names. However, these are of no importance to André. He simply shows people as they are.
